We offer weekly private lessons at a length of 1/2 hour, 3/4 hour, and 1 hour.
Guitar 101
A weekly hour-long group lesson covering the fundamentals of guitar playing. Topics include: Tuning, technique, beginning chords, reading tablature and chord diagrams, practice tips, and more.
Rock Band Program
Coming spring 2017! In this exciting hands on program you'll learn the essentials of playing in a real band. Topics include: how to build a dynamic set list, the art of stage presence, confidence hacks/how to deal with nervousness, making effective use of time, song arrangement, chart reading, improvisation and more.
Applied Music Theory
This is a weekly hour-long class that introduces students to the foundational elements of music theory. This is a great supplement to weekly private lessons that will help the student understand music on a deeper level. Students will learn: How to read and write standard notation, key signatures, ear training, scales, harmony and more.
Intro to Music Production and Recording
A 12-week crash course covering everything you need to produce and record your own music. Topics covered: Choosing the right setup for your needs, Digital Audio Workstations (Ableton Live, Logic, Pro Tools), microphone placement, mixing, using virtual instruments, MIDI, EQ, dynamics processing, plug-in's, and effects processing.
